• 2025.04 The proposed workshop in EuMW 2025, prototype, measurement and standard of ISAC, has been accepted!

• 2025.04 Yang gave a talk to RDI on Integrated Sensing and Communications - Definitions and Use Cases, Channels and Resources.

• 2024.04 European project --- Horizon Europe MSCA DN 2023 proposal SMARTTEST, where Yang is the PI and coordinator, get funded with a FULL score (top 1.56% ) !!!!!! 

• 2024.03 Yang presented in EuCAP her dual-band distributed beamforming measurement for ISAC scenarios; Hadi presented his work on channel matching for ISAC shared aperture; Yang chaired 3 sessions in EuCAP, among which she co-organized the session of "Propagation for Integrated Sensing and Communication".

• 2024.03 Yang co-organized and presented in IEEE JC&S Symposium a tutorial "Integrated Human Sensing and Communications: from human detection, to localization and tracking, to pose and vital sign recognition". The tutorial incorporated three technical pillars: resource allocation, channel modeling and measurement, estimation algorithm.

• 2024.02 Yang gave a talk in the KIVI(Het Koninklijk Instituut Van Ingenieurs)-URSI seminar on the joint COST INTERACT and WIRS session organized in URSI-GASS in summer 2023.

• 2024.01 We had our COST INTERACT meeting in Lisbon; Yang co-chaired 3 sessions and presented her accepted EuCAP paper.

• 2024.01 Ik heb de Nederlands A2/B1 les geslaagd.

• 2023.12  The proposal submitted to the Twente/Waterloo SCG  Health domain is funded :) Collaborations with Prof. George Shaker and Prof. Alex Wong will kick off in 2024.

• 2023.11  One MSCA DN proposal, two UT EEMCS internal incentive proposals, and one UT-UW Strategic Collaboration Grants (SCG) have been submitted.

• 2023.10 We had our first technical meeting of 3D-ComS (NWO OTP project) ! We, with 3 PhDs, aim to provide innovative solutions for 3D BS array design, LNA/mixer-array co-design, resource allocation for joint communication and sensing.

• 2023.10 Yang participated as co-supervisor in the "Age of Technology", the study tour of E.T.S.V. Scintilla, in South Korea, with 19 lovely UT students. We visited Doosan Energibility, Pusan National University, Ulsan National IST (UNIST), etc. 

• 2023.09 Bo Yin, a PhD candidate from UGent, Belgium, visited me in UT via COST INTERACT STSM grant, aiming to build colloabration on " 4D environment data and channel prediction using AI" .

• 2023.09 Yang initiated and co-organized the EEMCS Research Networking Day 2023 for EEMCS Faculty.

• 2023.09 I finished my NICT research exchange in Japan!! Thank you Kim sensei and his team, thank you Takada sensei and Kang, NICTありがとう. Our long-term collaboration will be continued ;)

• 2023.08 電子情報通信学会アンテナ伝播研究会（8月31-9月1日，東京）にて次の講演論文を発表しました -- MmWave Human Body Scattering and Blockage Measurement Using Dual-Band Distributed Beamforming.

• 2023.08 I chaired the joint WIRS (Women in Radio Science) and COST INTERACT session in URSI GASS 2023 in Sapporo, Japan.

• 2023.07 I become a URSI senior member !

• 2023.07 Congrats Hadi (PhD candidate in my Team) for his accepted OA paper of "Sparse Tiled Planar Array: the Shared Multibeam Aperture for Millimeter-Wave Joint Communication and Sensing".

• 2023.07 I got the Japanese NICT visiting researcher grant and started my visit to Japan for the EXCITING dual-band mmWave and THz measurement for Integrated Sensing and Communication scenarios!

• 2023.06 Our (together with Carsten from COST INTERACT ISAC subgroup)proposed convened session "Propagation for Integrated Sensing and Communication" has been provisionally selected for EuCAP 2024.

• 2023.05 Yang presented the work of "Investigating the Bistatic Sensing Capability of a Broadcasting 5G-NR BS and a True-Time-Delay Array UE" (this is a work started by my postdoc researcher Ben, then re-implemented and wrapped up by me) in COST INTERACT, Barcelona, Spain. Yang also chaired the ISAC-Channel Modeling session.

• 2023. 05 Yang participated in the PhD defense of Ke Shen (UGent), as a Jury committee member. 

• 2023. 04  UTwente EE Master course "Wireless Propagation Channel - for wireless communication, radar sensing and wireless device testing" has been concluded. Yang, as course coordinator, has invited Prof. Katsuyuki Haneda (from Aalto Uni., Finland) and Dr. Paul Unterhuber (from DLR, Germany) for two talks in the course.  Oral exams and challenge-based project reports have been evaluated. 

• 2023. 03 Yang presented the work of "Cluster Association for 3D Environment based on 60 GHz Indoor Channel Measurements" in EuCAP 2023, Florence, Italy. This work was mainly implemented by Hang Mi, a visiting scholar to UT in 2022.

• 2023. 03 My KU Leuven bachelor student Pedro presented his honorous programme - "Deep learning based classification and prediction of breathing patterns".

• 2023.03 My co-authored paper (my coordinated measurement) - 26 GHz OFDM and 77 GHz FMCW Radar Dataset for Domain Shift Invariant Blockage Prediction - was presented in IEEE JC&S symposium.

• 2023. 02 My master student in UTwente presented her work of "SDR (bladeRF) based dual-band MIMO Wi-Fi 'Radar'".

• 2023. 02 Yang presented in the ESoA course ANTENNA SYSTEMS FOR 5G COMMUNICATIONS in Rennes, France.

• 2023. 01 Hadi and Kai (within my team) presented in COST INTERACT meeting, Dubrovnik, Croatia. Hadi presented the importance of human shape estimation for vital sign estimation; Kai presented the UAV channel sounder and measurement. Yang co-chaired the WG2-ISAC session.

• 2022.12 Yang participated in the PhD defense of Sara Willhammar/Gunnarsson in Lund University, as a Jury committee member.
